Welcome, New Patients

We're glad you chose Ironwood Urology for your care. When you call to schedule, our team will verify your insurance and help find an appointment time that works for you. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit so we can complete any remaining paperwork and get you checked in comfortably.

Ironwood Urology is committed to making quality urological care accessible. We accept most major insurance plans and are happy to help verify your coverage before your appointment. Our team will work with you to understand your benefits and make your visit as straightforward as possible.

Patients are responsible for applicable copays, deductibles, and any services not covered by their insurance plan. If you have questions about your financial responsibility, please contact our office and we will be happy to assist.

Do I need a referral to see a urologist?
Whether you need a referral depends on your insurance plan. Many plans allow you to see a specialist directly without a referral, while others require one from your primary care physician. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before scheduling to confirm your requirements. Our staff is also happy to help answer questions about your coverage.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request an appointment online using our appointment request form, or call our office directly at (480) 961-2323. We will contact you within one business day to confirm your appointment.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit includes check-in, a review of your medical history and symptoms, a physical examination, and a discussion of your diagnosis and next steps. In-office testing may be performed if needed. Please plan for your first appointment to last approximately 45–60 minutes.
What insurance plans do you accept?

How should I prepare for a urine test or urodynamic study?

Yes. Ironwood Urology uses eClinicalWorks for our patient portal. You can access your medical records, test results, and appointment summaries online. See the Patient Portal section below for the login link, or ask our front desk staff for enrollment assistance.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you notify our office as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient. Please call our office at your earliest convenience and our team will be glad to assist.
